Responsibilities:
- Assist in implementing individualized treatment plans established by supervising Physical Therapist
- Provide hands-on therapy to patients, including exercises, stretches, and manual techniques
- Monitor and document patients’ progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Educate patients and their families on proper techniques for at-home exercises and self-care
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
- Stay up to date with advancements in physical therapy techniques and research
Essential Skills:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with patients, their families, and other healthcare professionals
- Excellent problem-solving abilities to develop individualized treatment plans for patients
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Detail-oriented with strong documentation skills
License/Certification:
- Physical Therapy Assistant license (REQUIRED)
Experience:
- New graduates are encouraged to apply!
- Experience working in an outpatient setting is preferred.
- Experience working in Vestibular Rehab or Women’s Health is a plus.

CERTIFIED HAND THERAPIST (CHT) – OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST
We are excited to add a Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) to our team at Stride Physical Therapy! This role focuses on upper extremity and hand rehabilitation, including post-surgical care, custom splinting, and complex orthopedic conditions. You will work closely with referring surgeons and physicians while maintaining a high level of clinical autonomy in an outpatient setting.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and assess patients’ physical conditions and develop appropriate treatment plans
- Provide advanced hand therapy interventions, including manual therapy, post-operative protocols, and progressive strengthening for upper extremity conditions
- Monitor and document patients’ progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Educate patients and their families on proper techniques for at-home exercises and self-care
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
- Stay up to date with techniques and research
- Design and fabricate custom orthoses/splints for upper extremity conditions
- Treat complex hand, wrist, elbow and forearm diagnoses, including post-surgical cases
- Communicate regularly with referring surgeons and physicians regarding patient progress
Essential Skills:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with patients, their families, and other healthcare professionals
- Excellent problem-solving abilities to develop individualized treatment plans for patients
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Demonstrated expertise in upper extremity rehabilitation and clinical decision making
- Ability to manage a specialized caseload with minimal supervision
License/Certification:
- Occupational Therapy license (REQUIRED)
- Certified in hand therapy
Experience:
